I Apologize
Posted: 2007-08-17 @ 4:56 pmI expected to update this site more. I had such great ideas but I have had no motivation whatsoever lately. :( I have hundreds of pictures and videos I want to show the world… it’s just a matter of me sitting down and uploading them all. Guh, so lazy. ;)
BUT. I refuse to let this domain shrivel up and die. No-no. Just let me think about what I want to do with it.
My life has been work, work, work, and more work. It’s all I do. And I’m about to take on a second job so that should be interesting. I am rather bummed that I can’t attend school this fall. Reason being; no cash to pay for it. And I refuse to take out school loans until I’m accepted into medical school. So I’ve decided to extend my break from college and just work my butt off this fall & save up for the spring semester. Like I said - I’m not exactly thrilled about that but hey, at least I don’t have to do anymore chemistry and calculus equations for a few months.
All my friends are either getting married or popping out babies. What is the world coming to?! I remember sitting with these girls in 7th grade giggling about boys and sex and our periods and what not. And now they are squeezing fleshy, breathing things out of their vaginas and putting $10K diamond rings on their fingers! My brain is having a hard time excepting such drastic changes.
…has anyone ever had laser hair removal performed on them? Strange question, I know, but I’m curious. :) I am just a random, babbling idiot today!

Oh I hear ya on the everyone having babies and getting married thing. There was a wave of that happening in my life around HS graduation (I was a maid-of-honor 3 times by the time I was 19), and most of those people have been married, had kids, and been divorced already! We’re 25! It seemed to slow down for awhile, but is starting up again. Hopefully this time they’re older, wiser, and smarter about it! It still feels weird to me, too, when someone from my childhood has kids. It’s like, BUT WE’RE STILL 12! None of that for me, thanks.
Electrolysis? Never had it myself, but there’s an electrolysis office in the building I work at, and my coworkers and I sometimes have a giggle about it, which is rude. They must make good money though, because her office is NICE.
Glad to see that you are still around :) I agree with the whole everybody is getting married/having babies. 80% of my friends are getting engaged/married and its really sad for me because I feel sorta left out even though I am so not ready to get married (nor do I have a boyfriend to marry). Bleh.
Sorry to hear that you can’t go to school in the fall :( I always enjoy reading about your study skills and stuff because you were a great person to look up to when it comes to schooling and doing well! Seriously. Hope you can go back in the spring :)
i really do want to see you do something with this site! you’re too creative not to ;) and maybe since you’re *not* doing school - it will be a little easier! *mwa*
I like the layout for this site but you definitely need to update more! I understand about being busy and having the motivation though =/ It’s a toss up. I take pictures constantly because I want to show them to people but then I never upload them lol.
motivation will come soon. lol. give it time.
What girl? my screen???…. bullshit….
DON’T waste your money on laser hair removal. I made the mistake of signing up for a “deal” on Valentine’s Day for 4 sessions of Brazilian bikini hair removal for $500. I’m just waiting on the date for my 4th appointment to role around and I still can’t notice anything thining of the hair and it’s most certainly not all gone. They chose to tell me AFTER I handed over my money that most of the time it takes 8 sessions or more.
Thank you very much but I’d rather keep the money.
I got about 4 sessions done and it didn’t do much. it did at first, but after that no such luck. it was pointless to keep paying that much money only to have it work for about 2-3 weeks. it cut down on the amount of hair coming in, but definitely didn’t get rid of it.
I wish you the best of luck with everything, especially saving up for school. I haven’t seen many of my friends with babies. However, I’m starting to see my younger sister’s friends popping out babies like crazy. It’s sad, too. They’re way too young to be having children like that. My sister’s friend had a baby when she was 13. She’s now 18 and she has 3 kids already!
don’t feel bad or left out about seeing others getting married and having kids. it’s normal to feel that way, i know cuz i get it once a while when i’m around my nieces and nephews. it’s a crappy feeling cuz you feel the need to want to be a parent. but as long as you maintain your course and don’t give up you’ll be fine. don’t let anything get to you. a semester off from school take it as a break from school and enjoy the rest you get from it. remember to be positive and take things with a positive mind.
Girls I used to know from middle school are popping out babies and getting married too, and they’re only my age… 18 and 19. It’s crazy.
Hopefully you’ll be able to save up enough money for school!
It’s strange when you grow up and you realise that the people around you grow up as well, and get different interests, and even get married, have children. It’s all a part of life but it’s indeed strange when you realise that a few years ago you were, like you say it, still giggling about boys and periods.
And to answer your question, yes, I’ve had laser hair removal. The good thing is that your hair doesn’t come back but sadly enough it’s expensive and you have to go back every now and then. First you have to go back every few weeks, or months and later you only have to go back about twice a year, until it’s completely gone. While you’re having it done you’re not allowed to shave it or pull the hair, though.
Hope you get enough money for school. As far as I know most of my friends are still single. Most of us are in college. But give me about 5 years and I think that I’ll be in the same situation as you.
