Elizabeth Berkley = love!
Posted: 2008-06-03 @ 7:21 amActress Elizabeth Berkley — best known for playing the star stripper in the ill-fated film “Showgirls,” and as caffeine-pill-popping Jessie Spano on ‘90s sitcom “Saved by the Bell” – knows a thing or two about life’s obstacles. And she’s putting that knowledge to use. Berkley is launching ask-elizabeth.com, an advice web site for teen girls, where the actress says visitors can “feel safe to ask questions and come up with solutions together.” — Source
Ok, I want to know why everyone feels the need to bust Elizabeth’s chops for Showgirls. I will be completely honest with you - that is one of my all time favorite movies. It doesn’t matter how bad of a mood I’m in because once I pop it in, I feel fine instantly. And you know what? I think you’re just lying to yourself if you think that movie is horrible. Everyone loves Showgirls!
And everyone loves Elizabeth Berkley! I wasn’t a big fan of Saved by the Bell but Nomi Malone for life, damnit!

I heard about her website on a TV documentary a few weeks back. I cannot remember what show it was, or perhaps it was just E! It seems as though her intentions are in the right place and I am sure many girls will benefit from her site. At least I hope they will.
As for Showgirls.. I have never heard anyone say anything bad about that movie. Hmm. Oh well :)
I love Showgirls. I’ll admit it. haha
Hum, I’ve never seen Showgirls, but now I wanna =)
I’m sure I’d admit it if I saw it too :) As long as Heidi Montag isnt EVER on it, I’ll be happy!
It’s one of those awkward instances where people have this naive innocent idea of how she should be in real life based off of her best known character VS. the persona she portrayed outside of SBTB. Whomp, whomp, whomp…
I like her in “Step Up and DANCE!” so I’m good.
P.S.: Anyone who says that pool scene isn’t in their spank bank (after seeing Showgirls) is a damn liar.
It’s one of my favorite movies, too. I never understood why the reviews were so awful.
