Mindy GrayHello. My name is Mindy Gray and in my past life I was a sniper.

Well, I think I was a sniper.  I just have this crazy feeling that I would be good at sniping.  I’ll probably give it a shot one day (no pun intended).  Right after I mark “swimming with Great White sharks” off my to-do list.  And you probably think I’m kidding!

I’ve had a home on the internet (in some form or another) going on nine years now.  I starting coding when I was 12 or 13 and have been intrigued by the www every since.  I have so many profiles online, sometimes I really don’t understand how I keep up with them all (or why I even choose to).  But you can find me in all sorts of fun little places:  Twitter, LiveJournal, FaceBook, and last but not least, MySpace.

As for the basics, I’m a college student currently residing in Colorado.  I’m a pre-med student majoring in biology and I hope to graduate in a couple of years with my Bachelors in Biomedical Science and minor in psychology.  After that I can hopefully get into medical school and then become the world famous psychiatrist I’ve always wanted to be!  Actually, I think I used to want to be an elementary school teacher but shit, I also ate grass when I was a kid so you might not want to take a lot of the things I say on this site seriously.  Except for this.  I mean that.

I have 2 sisters, 2 miniature schnauzers, 1 brother, and my precious mom.  My dad committed suicide in 2004 and at first, it was something I really didn’t want mentioned online.  But I am very open about it now and take depression very seriously.  He’s a big reason I decided to aim for medical school and become a psychiatrist.

Work and school consume most of my life.  When I’m not at school, I’m mostly at work (job titles and locations; classified).  I love my jobs and I never mind working.  I work with intelligent, professional people and I learn new things from them every single day.

Basically, I consider myself pretty lucky.  Really.  I’m young, I’m in love, I support myself, and I smile every single day.  I make a great friend, fo’sho.

As for the weird little facts most of you don’t even care about, I have a weird habit of sticking my fingers up my nose.  Not necessarily to pick it or anything… just because I like to feel the inside ridges and scars.  I do it when I’m bored, nervous, excited, and sad.

I love cheese, seahorses, rain, diaries, tuna, horror movies, the 80s, Law & Order: SVU, and laughing.  I dislike drama, celery, headaches, people who can’t smile, and when little snippets of HTML mess up your entire friggin’ page!  The end!
