Yikes to all of the above!
First, your old landlord is still a douche. I’m glad you were able to get some of your security deposit back though!
Second, the new CEO is a douche too. It’s good that you have time to look for a new job but it sucks because you were relying on your schedule there for school.

I had some bad issues with my landlord when I moved out of my last apartment - luckily my boyfriend’s dad is a lawyer so he just wrote them a few letters and they eventually left us alone…
